Just wrapped up an outstanding week at the Academy of Management Conference 2023 in the vibrant city of Boston, and I am still buzzing with inspiration and insights!

The diverse array of sessions left me invigorated and eager to delve deeper into my research projects. From captivating discussions on External Enablement of Entrepreneurship to the fascinating world of natural language processing, qualitative comparative analysis, cultural entrepreneurship, and digital entrepreneurship – my horizons have undoubtedly expanded.
As I return to Sweden, I am fueled with even greater motivation to advance my work, thanks to the remarkable recognitions I received from the Academy of Management:
- Nominated by the Research Methods Division for the prestigious William Newman Award for the best dissertation paper across all disciplines.
- Further consideration for the NFIB Award, recognizing excellence in entrepreneurship dissertation work.
- Acceptance and presentation of three working papers.
Connecting with both familiar faces and new acquaintances was a cherished part of this experience. A special highlight was catching up with Jönköping International Business School, Centre for Family Entrepreneurship and Ownership (CeFEO) affiliated members and my esteemed co-authors Matthias Waldkirch, Peter Schou, Christian Fisch, Per Davidsson, and Maksim Belitski.
